Foraging nectar, a cloud of bumblebees spun magically around me at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum. Full of life and tenacity, fulfilling their mission in their fluffiest of yellow hairs and iridescent lace-like wings. Teddy bears beating its wings to defy gravity. Tumbling and grappling, competing for the smallest of buds, collecting nectar with their gentle, anything but elegant, acrobatics.
