Tiny Treasures: A Bumblebee Collection

Enchanted by the bumblebees surrounding anemones at the Frelinghuysen Arboretum in Morristown, NJ, I was amazed by these hardworking little pollinators. They were so charming, especially when they took naps inside of flowers or rolling around in pollen, looking a smidge tipsy. Inspired by their energy and resilience, I painted this new series of mini paintings. Tiny Treasures, little jewels of nature buzzing across a rich, painted ebony backdrop, striving to highlight their importance  in the natural world.
