The back has a unique inscription about the painting. "Bumblebees are vital pollinators that nest underground in small colonies. Though fuzzy and cute, they can sting multiple times unlike honeybees. However, only the female bees have stingers. They’re efficient pollinators and store pollen on their legs. They are quite adorable when found napping in buds."

Pearl Lui is a Natural Science Illustrator, Artist & Calligrapher based in New Jersey. She often paints from real experiences with nature to help us connect with the wonder that was always there.
