Description
Learn brush calligraphy with this kit. When I first started, I couldn't find a simple kit and so when I started making progress with my modern calligraphy practice, I decided to make my own for anyone who is just getting started.
Take the guesswork out of getting the right tools to learn Brush Lettering. This kit is perfect because it comes with 4 markers and 1 Dear Daughters Design Bic pen. These are the perfect markers to start with if you're a beginner:
- Kuretake ZIG Cocoiro letter pen body in frost white
- Kuretake ZIG Cocoiro letter pen refill in black in with extra fine brush (you'll assemble with the pen body when you receive it so the ink doesn't dry out!)
- Pentel Fude Touch Brush Sign pen in black
- Tombow Dual Brush pen in black
- Crayola Broad Line marker in black
Store them in a useful pencil case with one of my original illustrations on it so you can carry your markers everywhere you go.
Lastly, I put together a beginner's guide to brush calligraphy explaining how to hold the markers, when to apply pressure, basic brush strokes, and both an upper and lower case exemplar.
