Instructor | Pearl Lui is a local New Jersey artist and modern calligrapher. She is a member of International Association of Master Penmen, Engrossers and Teachers of Handwriting (IAMPETH), Society of Scribes NYC, The National Association of Women Artists, Guild of Natural Science Illustrators, and earned a Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh Certificate in Botanical Illustration. She is also completing her Natural Science Illustration certificate at Rhode Island School of Design, Spring 2026 candidacy. Specializing in Scientific Illustration, Modern Calligraphy, Engraving Artistry, and Graphic Design, she blends traditional art forms with a modern aesthetic. Before her art and calligraphy career, she spent 20+ years in New York City, leading marketing strategy and mentoring marketing teams at publicly traded companies.
