What size party can you accommodate?

We typically cater to groups of 6 to 20 participants, though we're flexible! We require a 6-seat minimum fee, and any additional students above this minimum enjoy a discounted rate per person. We're happy to discuss options for larger or smaller groups—just ask!

Do you travel to my location?

Yes, we do! We proudly offer private workshops in Millburn, Short Hills, Livingston, Berkeley Heights, Chatham, Summit, Morristown, and surrounding communities with no additional travel fees. If your town isn't explicitly listed, please reach out to us to confirm availability in your area.

What do I need to provide at my home or event venue?

Setting up for your workshop is simple! You'll need:

• Tables: Enough table surface space to comfortably accommodate your party, allowing at least 2-3 feet per person for writing and painting.
• Chairs: The appropriate number of chairs for your guests.
• Sink Access: A sink with running water is necessary for our workshop activities.

You're welcome to provide your own table decor and tablecloth to match your event's theme. Otherwise, we supply a tablecloth. Don't worry about the rest—we'll bring all the necessary kits, supplies, and even paper towels!

What if I don't have an event space?

No problem! Depending on availability, we can offer a convenient workshop location for your group. Additional fee may apply pending time of year and length of private party. Just let us know your preference when you email us!

When should I book my workshop?

Our workshops do book up quickly, so we recommend reaching out at least a month in advance to secure your desired date.

How long do workshops typically last?

Our private workshops typically run for 2 hours with 90 minutes of instruction and instructor demonstrations.

What is included in the workshop fee?

Your workshop fee includes all necessary materials and supplies for each participant, including high-quality paper, specialized tools (pens, brushes, paints, etc.), and a take-home kit for continued practice. We also provide expert instruction and personalized guidance throughout the workshop.

Can we customize the workshop project or theme?

Absolutely! We love to customize workshops to fit your specific occasion or theme at no additional fee. If you let us know the theme, we'll adjust our exemplars to reflect your occasion. Whether you have a particular quote for a lettering workshop, a specific subject for painting, or a unique craft idea, we're happy to work with you to create a personalized experience. What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?

We appreciate your understanding that when you book a private workshop, we reserve that time exclusively for you, turning away other potential clients.

• 30+ Days Notice: 90% cancellation fee OR $0 rescheduling fee.

• 7-29 Days Notice: 50% cancellation fee OR $25 rescheduling fee.

• Less than 7 Days Notice: 100% cancellation fee OR $50 rescheduling fee.

These fees help us manage the operational costs associated with dedicated bookings.

Do you require a deposit to book?

Yes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your desired date and time. The remaining balance is due 7 days prior.

Is there an age minimum for participants?

Our workshops are generally designed for ages 15 and up. For younger participants or mixed-age groups, please contact us to discuss suitable project options and arrangements.
